Johns Memorial has a long and rich history of Campus Ministry - and highly values the students in our midst. Many are invited to join in family activities, and all are invited to actively participate in the life of the church. 

We cooperate with the Virginia Synod of the ELCA as a 'cooperating congregation' to serve college students, faculty, and staff from Longwood University and Hampden-Sydney College.

Each semester, our college students gather for worship, dinner and fellowship - typically at 5:30 p.m. on Sundays. In addition to the many activities that our college students participate in, they also assist with the FACES Food Distribution on the first Saturday of the month.

For the 2011-12 Academic Year, LeighAnna Feeser (LU'12) and Jared Christian (HSC'12) serve as co-Chairs of the 'Episcopal Lutheran Ministry' or ELM.
